Well I never tried the hot and I have to tell you -it is HOT-it will really put in a nice flavor-like the 2 pack like this
Go very sparingly with the hot- the regular is mild and flavorful

2. Just the Best
I've been using this brand of paprika for decades, but for some reason my local grocery stores have quit carrying it.

The smoky hot paprika is truly unique in my experience. I use paprika often, but not that much at a time, so these large containers will last quite a while.

I will say that these arrived in a plastic bag with a rubber hand holding them together. For whatever reason, the lid had leaked some paprika inside the sealed bag, not a lot, but cooks know how just a little paprika can make things awfully red! I'm certainly not returning them; it couldn't have been more than a pinch, and the tamper-evident seal was unbroken. I'm thinking that probably during a plane flight, the change in air pressure caused the slight leak.

I always feel bad about throwing away these beautiful tins. They are art themselves, especially compared to the now-ubiquitous little plastic pots.

This is great paprika at a fine price, especially the hot.
