Of all the McCormick Grill Mates, this is my favorite. Whether I use it for outdoor grilling, smoking, or indoor cooking, it always makes whatever I'm cooking better. I've used it on steaks, spare ribs, pork chops, hamburger -- you name it, if it's meat, I've used this delicious rub on it!

To give you an idea of my tastes, I've used the following three varieties of Grill Mates: Molasses Bacon (a close second to this), Barbecue, and Applewood (which, IMO, was way too spicy. The Sweet & Smoky gives the perfect blend to satisfy my sweet tooth and my craving for smoked meat. My husband loves this as much as I do (and he's much harder to please than I am).

BTW, my grocery store sells this for more than $5 a jar. With Subscribe & Save, it works out to $3.37 per jar. That'll keep me stocked for awhile. :-)

I use this rub on everything - it's delicious. Why McCormick insists on selling it in small 4.41oz jars is beyond me - sell this stuff in the big containers like your other spices! In any event, this is a great price, and the rub is delicious on pork, ribs, chicken - you name it.
