I used 3/4 of a cup of boiled water per packet, and it turned out great! You can add thinly sliced sauteed beef and a small pinch of dried chili flakes to this soup to change it up, but it's perfect just the way it is.

I love this soup. It is great on a cold day, or when you need something light. When added to hot water, there are green onions, sesame seeds and a surprizing amount of wakame (seaweed) in a delicious broth.
