These come in a box, all loose, with a thin layer of cardboard between them. When we received ours about 5 of the packages were busted open and squirted all over the box and other packages.

Wonderful for dipping
The Heinz Dip & Squeeze packages can work well either way, but I especially like the ease for dipping. They are flat on the bottom so they don't tip over, and there is a lot of ketchup in there. They are less messy than any other way of using ketchup. I work with a lot of children, and they work wonderfully well. I could not find this product in a store. I decided to check Amazon, and then it was so easy to get and so quickly.
